The 50th FIG World Gymnastics Championships was held on October 18th in Kitakyushu, due to the global pandemic and the postponement of the Olympic Games, Kitakyushu Championships becomes the first World Championships to be held in an Olympic year since 1996.

Twelve World medals—seven for Men’s Artistic Gymnastics and five for Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, are in play this week in Kitakyushu, where competition runs from October 18th to 24th, with more than 300 gymnasts from 56 nations competing.

• From Monday, October 18 to Tuesday, October 19 – Women’s Qualification
• From Tuesday, October19 to Wednesday, October 20 – Men’s Qualification
• Thursday, October 21 – Women’s All-Around Final
• Friday, October 22 – Men’s All-Around Final
• Saturday, October 23 – Event Finals Day 1 (MAG FX, PH, SR & WAG VT, UB)
• Sunday, October 24 – Event Finals Day 2 (MAG VT, PB, HB & WAG BB, FX)
